APRICA Mountain Hut
Rifugio ALPINI Campovecchio

Situated at 1310m high, within the Natural Reserve of the Valley of S. Antonio, near the Pass Aprica.
One can arrive in 2 different ways: by foot through a walk in nature (approx. 40min) starting from the small village of San Antonio and/or with your own (jeep) by requesting permission to the municipality of Corteno Golgi.
The stretch of the river that runs alongside our refuge, is renowned for the practice of fly fishing and within our refuge permits can be acquired for practicing the sport, as well as collecting mushrooms.
Upon arriving to the refuge, one has a vast selection of choices: one can stop to taste our dishes and enjoy a sunny day along the river, or for the most demanding hikers continue.
Indeed it is from the Valley of Campovecchio that the path continues to utterly beautiful locations: Lago di Piccolo (Little Lake), Monte Sellero (mount Sellero), Malga Venet (Lodge Venet), Bivacco David (Bivouac David), furthermore one may proceed to the new path “Frassati”.
Our refuge is composed of 4 bedrooms; 3 with 6 beds (3 are bunk beds), and one (1) with 4 beds (1-double bed and a bunk bed), and above an enormous attic room. The bathroom is shared and has a shower.
